Event Support

The Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Award in Event Support is designed to enhance and develop the
skills of event organisers and their volunteers in the ‘stewarding and marshalling’ of mass
participation events. This qualification has particular relevance in the run up to the 2012
Olympics but it is equally beneficial to those working in events across a range of areas such as
the entertainment and community sectors.

Developed in conjunction with leading event organisers, it allows volunteer and support
personnel to achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification.
