NVQ for IT Users

This part time flexible learning programme comprises of the candidate achieving 100 points (25 points for the mandatory unit and 75 points from a range of optional units).

Competence is assessed by the development of a portfolio. Evidence can be hard copy documents, observation, questionnaires, discussion, photographs, witness testimonies etc.

Course includes:

· Mandatory Unit undertaken in the workplace demonstrating competence in 4 tasks

· A choice of 14 optional units including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, database, e-mail, intranet/internet, IT artwork and images, operate a computer, IT Security etc
