Mandatory Units

The candidate is required to complete all mandatory units.

• Unit 01: Contribute to effective working relationships with colleagues
• Unit 02: Contribute to health and safety in your work environment
• Unit 03: Provide professional customer care

Optional Units

Option Group A

• Unit 05: Help passengers with special needs
• Unit 06: Contribute to the operation of the service
• Unit 07: Deal effectively with difficult passengers
• Unit 08: Drive passenger carrying vehicles safely
• Unit 09: Operate passenger systems and services
• Unit 10: Operate the passenger service
• Unit 11: Prepare for passenger carrying journeys
• Unit 13: Provide a chauffeur transport service

Option Group B

• Unit 04: Agree tour itineraries with clients
• Unit 12: Process fares
• Unit 14: Provide a transport service for passengers with special needs
• Unit 15: Receive and match fare payments to tickets
• Unit 16: Sort out emergencies and incidents during a journey
• Unit 17: Transport parcels and luggage

Option Group C

• Unit 18: Deliver reliable customer service
• Unit 19: Develop customer relationships
• Unit 20: Process customer service information
• Unit 21: Promote additional products or services to customers
• Unit 22: Resolve customer service problems
• Unit 23: Support customer service improvements

Option Group D

• Unit 24: Provide a security transport service
• Unit 25: Drive passenger carrying vehicles within Europe

Unit Combinations

To gain the full NVQ all three mandatory units plus at least three units from Group A and at least two units from Group B or any two units from Group C must be achieved. The units listed in Group D are additional units and are not a requirement of the award.
